This app is perfect for you! Once silenced then "un-silenced" via app, your last volume state will be restored!
This happens to be my first published application! Metro Toggle silent is a Metro themed (wp7) toggle silent app. I am currently looking into making a widget (for more convience and use). When "un-silenced" via the app, your last volume state will be restored!
